HP 94% efficient 1200 watt max common slot power supply. The HP DPS-1200FB-1A uses the common slot power connect allowing it to be used by miners with most standard Break-out-boards. Depending on the power used, the HP DPS-1200FB can output 3 different “max” outputs. When connected to 100v (Japan) the system will offer 800 watts of total power, 120V offers 900 watts of power but when connected to 220V power, the system will offer a max output of 1200 watts.

1200 watts of power can be used to power many different things from riser cards to GPUs to ASIC mining bricks.

The 80 PLUS Platinum difference

The 80 PLUS program was created in 2004 through a joint effort between Ecova and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
